The man who goes by Mr. Ye, who was known to shell out millions in Las Vegas is a big name in the gambling scene and is now the protagonist of a global manhunt. This cash that he has been throwing down supposedly could have come from illegal drugs.

Even though Ye is a high roller he’s a fugitive now. Ye is under strong suspicion of moving large amounts of chemicals originating from Asia to Mexico. He is also alleged to have links in the Mexican mafia.

Law officials claim that this lucrative yet illegal business is what has been permitting Mr. Ye to live as large as he does. When authorities searched mansion in Mexico City a few months ago they found stacks of $100 bills everywhere. The place was literally flooded with money and was hidden in places from suitcases to cabinets to even inside the walls.

This became the biggest seized amount in relation to drugs in Mexico with the total amount coming to $207 million.

The home belonged to Zhenli Ye Gon, a Chinese born businessman who became a Mexican citizen back in the 90s. He’s now a wanted man in 180 countries. Interpol and the Drug Enforcement Administration are looking for him. If they had only been in Las Vegas a few months ago, they could have nabbed him with ease.
